Study On Ancient Words In Nanning Dialect

At present,there are not enough research results,in a limited range and textual research content is not complete in the study of Nanning-style Cantonese.This paper takes Nanning's dialect which representative dialect of Cantonese in Guangxi as the research object,and it devoted to the study of ancient words in Nanning's dialect.The main content of the article is divided into three parts.The first part is the research on the classification of Nanning-style Cantonese's ancient words,this paper makes a textual research on Nanning-style Cantonese from the aspects of pronunciation and meaning,and it uses the example of ancient literature as a supplement.This paper studies 136 ancient words,including 36 astronomical ancient words,and 56 geographical ancient words,and 47 seasonal ancient words,and it examines the performance of these in other dialect area.The second part is the longitudinal analysis of historical levels of Nanning ancient dialect words.The first section is to explain the meaning and criterion of Nanning vernacular words history level,in the meaning of the historical level,and the illustration of literature,and the completeness of the words meanings inheritance,and the situation of the polysemy of words.According to the division of Li Xinkui view,the historical levels of Nanning-style Cantonese is divided into Qin and Han dynasties,Wei Jin Southern and Northern dynasties,Sui Tang and Five Dynasties,Song Dynasty,Yuan Dynasty,Ming Dynasty,Qing Dynasty.The content of the second section is the concrete analysis of the historical level.The third part is the description of the evolution of the meaning of Nanning's ancient dialect words.Through the study of the number and meaning of the ancient words,can be summed up that the Nanning's ancient dialectwords of astronomy,geography and season have great stability,most words are inherited retains the ancient meaning.
