Color is an important part of modern Chinese lexical semantic research. The research of the past few decades has already achieved fruitful results. However, it is no doubt that scholars have different views on the color perception of the word, thus there are still rooms for discussion. The sememe analysis of words in the same semantic field can help us to see the truth: color is not an additional part of the lexical meaning of the word, not even does it belong to the category of word meaning, but a taste of the word other than just a meaning. For example, the image color, in fact, refers to a taste of certain things that was formed by an experience association about the things that the words refer to which was caused by a certain dimension of meaning of the word; Style color of certain words means a spoken or written language taste based on its value, which was established by the context created by the user of the words; or it is a neutral taste that is between oral style and formal style. Emotion color is different from the emotional element in the word meaning. It is not contained in its own meaning of the word, and being a special emotional taste of the word, it is usually produced when a certain lexical element of the word triggers someone's special feeling toward the things or behaviors that the word refers to.According to the intensity of the perceptibility of the color, or taste, it can be distinguished as objective color and subjective color. The objective colors include image color, style color, ethnic color, style color, color of the times, local color and foreign color; subjective colors include attitude color, evaluation color and emotion color. Among them, the subjective color, especially the emotion color is not suitable for being divided into two parts simply, but should consider vocabulary facts and analyze by multipoint method.
