The Research On Verb-direction Construction Of �V+out� Series

This thesis discusses the the integration of verb-direction construction of �V+out� series..Verb-direction construction of �V+out� serious,which expressed in diverse form are widely used in modern Chinese.Most of the current studies are about the static description of directional verb and directional complement,few of them are related to the integration of verb-direction construction of �V+out� series.Through synchronic and diachronic perspectives,the author analyses and describes the integration of verb-direction construction of �V+out� series by cognitive grammar and valency grammar.According to the Iconicity of Order and bounding theory,we find the integration of Verb-direction construction of �V+out� serious can be listed as follows: firstly,the subject argument upgraded to verb-direction construction of �V+out� series when it moves the position of subject in Verb-direction construction.Secondly,the subject argument of Predicate verb either congruent to the subject argument of complement,or congruent to the object argument of complement.Thirdly,if the subject argument of predicate verb congruent to subject argument of complement,it will move to the position of subject in Verb-direction construction,which becoming the subject argument of Verb-direction construction.Fourthly,if the subject argument of predicate verb congruent to the object argument of complement,it will move to the different sentence structure vacancy.The research of pathway change of grammaticalization on Verb-direction construction of �v+out� serious reveals that it develops from �agent motion event construction� to �causative moving construction�,to� resulting construction�,to �state construction�.The semantic evolution of Verb-direction construction is from �the process of displacement�,to �direction of path or route�,to �implementation of action behavior�,to �the change of state �.The thesis at last lists the Verb-direction construction of �V+out� serious of the event of move and the event of temporal.In the process of grammatization,we find the metaphor is the mechanism of grammaticalization...
