A Simple Work Combined With Classicality And Innovation

Prokofiev's Second Piano Sonata Op.14 is composed in 1912.It is one of the most unique piano works in Prokofiev's domestic career.From the composing style of this piece,it embodies Prokofiev's perfect combination of classical and innovative ideas.Through analyzing the writing technique combined with the composing background,the composing style,the classicality and innovation and the technique of the playing skill,the author provides some theoretical basis advice for the actual stage performance.To discuss the composing style and playing skill of Prokofiev's Second Piano Sonata Op.l4,this paper is mainly divided into three chapters:Chapter 1:This chapter illustrates the reasons for choosing this topic,the status of internal and international researches,Prokofiev's life background and the Second Piano Sonata's composing background.Chapter 2:Starting from five aspects:the Classical style,the Toccata style,the Lyrical style,the Scherzo style,the Wrong-note style,this chapter analyses Prokofiev's composing technique through following elements:musical structure,tone,harmony,rhythm,color and intensity contrast,etc.Prokofiev's composing technique is a good combination of traditional style and unique innovation style.It is a good combination of classical and innovative piano work of the 20th century.Chapter 3:Combined with the music ontology analysis,as well as the author's performing experience,this chapter analyses the performance skills from three aspects:the control of specific rhythm and accent,the method of finger touch and the use of pedal.The author proposes several suggestions and advice for performance.
