Nowadays,every company or brand needs their own corporate image to promote and spread their goals to people.In addition,the corporate image can directly reflect the corporate culture of the system profile and the overall level;it could also assess its fierce competition in the real strength of the market.There are many ways to build a company's corporate image,including the company's logo design,and then put the logo design in the corporate's visual identity to use.When designing logo,the use of traditional elements is not only to make the logo unique,clear,easy to remember on the basis of more distinctive local characteristics and industry characteristics,but also could use the local traditional auspicious graphics to express corporate image.In the visual identity design method,the use of auspicious graphics,can be directly borrowed symbolic approach,to express a charm,emotion and auspicious thinking.Auspicious graphic elements' structure and innovation could make traditional culture's visual identity design look more charming.Based on this thesis focuses on the semantic meaning of auspicious graphic in visual identity design.Through the deep research and field investigation of auspicious graphics,we first summarize the types of various auspicious graphics,and then use Charles Sanders Peirce's semantic theory to study the evolution and innovation of Indonesian auspicious graphics.In addition,through the Gestalt theory,to find the combination between the two points,the traditional auspicious graphics to extract and find innovative and applied to the corporate image design,to achieve both better performance of corporate characteristics,enhance corporate image,also to achieve the traditional culture of the inheritance and carry forward the purpose.The purpose of this thesis is to study the auspicious graphic in Indonesia with the guidance of semantic theory,so that the design research has sufficient theoretical basis;the traditional culture of Indonesia's auspicious graphics into the VI design,with its brand image in the promotion of the enterprise at the same time,the effective dissemination of Indonesian traditional culture.First of all,we'll research the corporate image of some companies,which use the auspicious graphics for company logo.Through the semiotic theory and gestalt theory,this thesis will analyze the cultural background and profound significance of the wedding company in visual identity design.In order to express the characteristics of a folk,the logo design uses auspicious words,animals,things as a pattern,is to represent the blessing,happiness,luck and so on.Second,the analysis of auspicious graphics in Indonesian traditional wedding ceremony on the Indonesian cultural history and significance;and then,the Indonesian traditional wedding auspicious graphics in the logo design innovation.Finally,the Indonesian traditional wedding auspicious elements are composed,creating new signs for the expression of corporate image,used in the visual identity design and some company peripheral supplies.Indonesian traditional wedding use auspicious graphic elements for the purpose of being able to better understand Indonesian traditional culture.Hopefully through the auspicious graphic elements as a logo design,there could be a good expression of the company's cultural background,meaning,goals,vision and mission.
