A Study Of Jingdian Wenzi Bianzheng Shu

JingDian WenZi BianZheng Shu is written by Biyuan in Qing dynasty.This book studies some Chinese characters' shapes which appear in classic books.Biyuan collected a large number of forms of Chinese characters,and classified them into standard characters,omitted characters,general characters,variant forms of characters,folk characters.The standard characters are from Shuo Wen Jie Zi,and other characters are rely on standard characters.This book is not only a collection of characters,but also collates the classic books from characters' view.In this paper,we have studied five types characters that classified by Biyuan in an all-round way.We have figured out where the standard characters are from,and what the quantity is.And we also analysed the characteristics of different types of characters.By doing this,we comb the whole picture of the book,and lay a good research foundation for the future use of this book.
