Nowadays,students' relatively low English level,lacking interest of studying English,diversity needing of English studying are the primary problems which preschool education in secondary school are facing.At the same time,the teaching content and teaching method of English course in preschool education still copies the undergraduate's traditional English teaching pattern which still concentrates on grammar teaching.This kind of teaching system could not satisfy the students' English learning need and their future job's requirement about professional English ability.This thesis analyzes these problems exist among preschool education in secondary school,and proposes using EOP theory to improve the teaching content and teaching methods of secondary school for solving the current problem that the English teaching couldn't satisfy students' future job's requirement.The thesis states the characteristics of EOP theory and find out the current situation of English teaching in preschool education by using questionnaire.Problems of preschool education of secondary school in the area of students and teachers are summarized by analyzing the questionnaire,and EOP theory is used by combining with the practical situation of the school.The teaching reform discusses the area of teaching content and teaching method,and obtains considerate achievement,and proposes the suggestion of EOP theory in teaching reform based on already obtained teaching reform achievement.The related teaching reform date are collected after one academic year,and the comparison of students' achievement at each English skill model between the experimental class and the non-experimental class are made to prove whether the teaching content and teaching method under EOP theory is suitable for the preschool education major's English teaching.It will be useful to promote the English teaching effect in class and satisfy the demanding of talent from the market.English Story Telling Model is taken as an example to explain how does the EOP theory is used.The paper also emphasizes the problems need to be improved and related reforming methods in teaching practice under EOP theory.
