School adaptation is the main social adaptation of adolescents,if adolescents adapts school well, they could integrate into school and deal with academic and interpersonal pressure well, and lay the foundation for future development.Current studies have shown that parenting behavior significantly predicts school adaptation, but few studies reveal the internal mechanisms. This study examines the chain mediating effect of parent-child attachment and self-disclosure between parenting behavior and school adaptation. It aims to reveal the internal mechanisms of parenting behavior and school adaptation, and provide theoretical foundation for adolescents' school adaptation. In this study,594 middle school students were surveyed by convenient sampling method, using parenting behavior questionnaire,parent-child attachment questionnaire, adolescents' self-disclosure questionnaire and school adaptation questionnaire. The main results were as follows:1.The general situation on school adaption of junior middle school students was good, and peer relationship adaptation was best, the conventional and teacher-student relationship adaptation were beteer, the self-acceptance and curriculum adaptation were bad.2.The main effect of gender was significant in the conventional adaptation. The adaptation of female students is obviously better than that of males. The main effect of grade is significant in school adaptation and its five dimensions, showing a V shape development trend. The first students' adaptation level was significantly higher than that of grade students, but there was no significant difference with second students. The interaction between gender and grade was not significant in the school adaptation and its five dimensions.3.In school adaptation and its five dimensions,single/non single-child's adaptationlevel differences were not significant. The students of father's education level was junior middle school and the following, their school adaptation and curriculum adaptation were significantly lower than that the father's education level was college and above(including bachelor, master and PhD);The students of mother's education level was college degree and above, their curriculum adaptation is significantly higher than that the mother's education level was junior middle school and the following.4.There was a significant positive correlation between parenting behavior and school adaptation and its five dimensions.Negative parenting behavior was significantly negatively correlated with school adaptation and its five dimensions;parent-child attachment was positively correlated with school adaptation and its five dimensions;Adolescents' self-disclosure for father and its three dimensions(disclosure hobbies, disclosure study and disclosure school experience)and school adaptation have significantly positive correlation;Disclosure study for mother and school adaptation, conventional adaptation,teacher-student relationship,self-acceptance had significant positive correlation.5.Adolescents' self-disclosure for father partly mediated between father's positive parenting behavior and school adaptation;Father-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for father played as the chain mediating effect between father's positive parenting behavior and school adaptation;Father-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for father played as the chain mediating effect between father's negative parenting behavior and school adaptation; The chain mediating effect of mother-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for mother does not set up;Mother-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for mother played as the chain mediating effect between mother's negative parenting behavior and school adaptation.6.The direct prediction effect of mother's negative parenting behavior for school adaptation is significantly greater than father's negative parenting behavior; The mediation effect of Parent-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for father show significantly greater than the mother-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for mother; The total effect of father's negative parenting behavior,father-child attachment and adolescents' self-disclosure for father is less than three variables from mother significantly.
