Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(I.E.ADHD)is one of the most common psychiatric disorders in children. Its core symptom is attention deficit hyperactivity, and impulse.ADHD always appears in the school-age.Few scholars do their ADHD research focusing on the family function.McMaster family function model points out that the family is seen as an open system.Family member's behavior depends on the family structure, organization and interaction patterns. This study follows the guidance, adopts questionnaire survey, and selects 46 children aged 3 to 12 years old who once saw a doctor in the Children's psychological clinic of Hangzhou Seventh People's Hospital in February 2016 to August 2016,and Diagnosed with ADHD according with the DSM-?,and at the same time selects and recruits 46 healthy children for age and Gender matched as control group in the elementary schools and communities in Hangzhou.Research tools are "the children's adaptive behavior rating scale"(CABS),"the family function rating scale"(FAD),and"the family rating scale"(FAD).After discussing the relationship among the three major factors, the research conclusions are as follows:(1)Children with ADHD adaptation ability are lower than normal children, but along with the age growth, have certain development potential.(2)The family functions of children with ADHD are in bad conditions.ADHD group problem solving, and role in family functioning 2 on each factor exists significant difference(p<0.05);In communication, emotion, emotional involvement, behavior control, the overall function of five dimension compared with the control group there were significant differences(p<0.01).(3)The behavioral adaptation of children with ADHD has significant correlation with family function;the emotion factor in Family function is able to predict effects of the patient's ability to adapt.Emotional response factor and communication factor of ADHD children are able to predict the ability of independent social/self-control.(4)Social support for children with ADHD has moderate effect between the emotional involvement factor in family function and adaptive quotient.
