Study Of Correspondence Between Marxism And Confucian Thoughts

The Marxism and Confucian thoughts have far-reaching influence in China. The Marx doctrine originated from western countries in nineteenth century. It is the theoretical system for the proletariat to win freedom and liberation which was written by Marx and Engels. It is also a guiding ideology for modern revolutionary struggle and socialist modernizational construction of China; Confucian thoughts founded by Confucius with "benevolence" as the core of the ideological system in Spring and Autumn period. Confucian thoughts is also the core value and content of Chinese traditional culture.At present, both Marxism and Confucian thoughts are not only the deep-researched theoretical system with wide and broad influence, but the most suitable and practical theory for China as well. The correspondence of Marx doctrine and Confucian thoughts, from the aspect of theoretical value, on one hand, can promote the process of Marxism in China; on the other hand, it is the needs for Confucian's modernization and the construction of harmonious society.In this paper, Firstly, the definition and the developmental process of Marxism and Confucian, which lay the theoretical foundation for the correspondence are expressed;Secondly, based on the modern social reality in China,the characteristics and conjunction points of the Marxism and the Confucian thoughts are described, which demonstrated the necessity and possibility for the correspondence. Thirdly,the paper focus on the definition and process of correspondence with its principles and methods. Meanwhile, the significant experience and influence should be treated. Finally, taking the mass line as an example, the details for the correspondence of Marxism and Confucian thoughts will be discussed.The innovation of this paper focuses on drawing the experience and lessons from the achievements of Marxism and Confucian thoughts. I research the conjunction points according to modern social politics and culture in China. Through theoretical innovation,contribution for the development of Chinese national spirit and moral thoughts upgrading are necessary.
