This article focuses on the picture named " Auspicious Cranes " in the Northern Song Dynasty.And it includes three major parts:First,the meaning of the picture,in accordance with the inscriptions of "Auspicious Cranes " in order,clauses from several parts to study the picture meaning.The second part is the analysis of the form of "Auspicious Cranes",which discusses the relationship between the calligraphy and painting and the meaning of it,the history of the image of "Crane",the Composition of "Auspicious Cranes" and the reason of it.Third,"Auspicious Cranes " as a XiangRui picture,the deep purpose is to prove the legitimacy of the regime of the Song Dynasty,it's a way to prove the legitimacy of the court by Huizong.Contacting the ideology and policy of the times of Song Huizong's court,it's found that " Auspicious Cranes " recording of the event of cranes hovering over the Xuande Gate.And it's maybe related to the event that Tongguan's out of the country,and LiLiangsi.s offering methods.The two cranes at the center of painting may be the messengers who brought the news.The reason to the flying cranes is related to Song Huizong's " DaSheng music ",which is God's response to the emblem of the rule.To prove though the ZhaoSong Dynasty being based on the force of the dynasty,the court was the legitimacy of the regime,and it was the sole proprietor of the regime.People record auspicious event by painting Xiangrui pictures." Auspicious Cranes "is a performance of Huizong to prove his legitimacy of the regime.
