Modernization of the Pahlavi regime in Iran, early in its development, it faced with many very difficult problems in nation-building, the operation of power system and the economic base of such areas. Pahlavi and the bureaucratic system improved and resolved these problems with the support and assistance of the United States gradually. Pahlavi promoted the "white revolution" in order to carry out economic,political and social changes, and painted a blueprint "Iran the world's fifth power" for the country. If to carry on the national blueprint which Pahlavi promised, for the rich and powerful country of Iran, and social growth and benefit of the people, as well as other aspects of development should be able to be achieved. However, The history showed us that was not the vision of Iran's rich and power, but the King and his dream had become history.The destruction of Pahlavi regime in Iran was due to many factors, from these factors, we can sort out the core which was because of the lack of resources and legitimacy for its non-continuous production. From the perspective of legitimacy, under the background of Iran's modernization, the thesis inspects the production of the legitimacy of Pahlavi regime and the accumulation of legitimacy resources. From the several legitimacy resources, for a regime, not only it needs clear and sustained support of the rule performance, but also there is the need to turn "specific support" from masses into "support lax" with the help of the effective system. Ideological flexibility is the very effective mean .to achieve this goal. "The modernism of politics can be defined as concentration development or decentralization of political power in accordance with everyone themselves." From the political system of Pahlavi regime, it in due needed to treat the relationship between constitutional monarchy system and constitutionalism. It can not be avoided for Iran..The full text is divided into five sections: In addition to the First part of Chapter, besides the Introduction to the significance and purpose and current situation of the topic, is mainly on the legitimacy and modernization theory as well as the relationship between the two. Making clear in modernism context, how to use the legitimacy dimensions to analyze explores the modern transformation of the legitimacy of Iran's resources and its impacts on the regime.Chapter Two mainly analyzes the rule performance of the legitimacy of the Pahlavi regime, and presents a general introduction and analysis on economic development, and the results of secularization and the validity of political aspects to exist the inherent logic in three factors contributes to grasp a better understanding of the performance of Pahlavi regime.Chapter Three dissects the reasons for the failure of the system norms in Pahlavi regime as well as the lack of realization and the main ways of curing non-institutionalized, which made the whole system characterized by recurrent failure and invalidity. Monarchy as a system of norms promotes the exercise of power also is a hindering factor, made political modernization can not be truly sovereign in Iran, but also obstructed economic development and the accumulation in social outcome of the secularization.Chapter Five illuminates the dilemma which the king Pahlavi faced and how he shaped the new official ideology; The modernization process also contributed to the awakening of political consciousness of people to challenge the ideology of the monarchy; Islamic ideology won the public supports with the use of recovery dissemination systems and religious organizations also combined with Iran's internal and external favorable opportunities to carry out propaganda and anti-King struggle.Finally, In the previous chapter, on the basis of the comprehensive analysis of Iran Pahlavi regime transition background and its modernization, expands the analysis range from the microscopic observation of resources to the macroscopic level. The legitimacy crisis of Pahlavi regime embodied in the authority of the political system lost, political organization functional "paralyzed", the lack of systematic way of expanding institutional political participation, Finally, the monarchy in Iran become extinct.
