Study On The Protection Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Of Urban Communities

Since 2003, the protection of intangible cultural heritage in my country, has gone through fourteen years. On the beginning of these years, we only put our attention on the individual intangible items and heritage protection. And then realize the focus on the understanding of the intangible itself is not complete, we still need to combine with the original intangible cultural ecological environment for the integrity protection. For this kind of protection, the researchers advocate an way about cultural ecological reserve, but this can not still meet the demand of urban communities on the protection of intangible cultural heritage. How to protect the intangible cultural heritage projects that out of its original cultural ecology? Jiang Xinyuan community in Whuhan gives an answer about that question. This paper select Jiang Xinyuan community as research object, and then makes a study on the protection of intangible cultural heritage in urban communities from four aspects.The first part is the introduction. This part explains a core problem about how to protect the intangible cultural heritage in the city, especially in the urban community,from the aspect of research significance,summaries, and other study difficulties.Founding that Jiang Xinyuan community has already made some explorations on this.The second part is about practice of Jiang Xinyuan community in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. This section introduces the protection of intangible cultural heritage protection about this community, from its practice history, the reality and the characteristics. Also makes an study on other projects to know the development of protection in Jiang Xinyuan community.The third part is cultural construction of urban community. This part mainly analyzes Jiang Xinyuan in the economy, system, atmosphere of cultural construction,mainly through the cultural and ecological theory. And concludes that the cultural and ecological construction of urban community needs the reconstruction of cultural space,the integration of folk culture, and the formation of cultural atmosphere.The fourth part is about experience on the protection of intangible cultural heritage in urban communities. Combined with the experience of protection on intangible cultural heritage in Jiang Xinyuan , and the creation of community in Japan, Taiwan community.This paper thinks that the protection of intangible cultural heritage needs an integral protection of cultural ecology, classified protection based on its characteristics, and the return to daily life of the public.
