On The Introduction And Study Of Western Art History In The Period Of The Republic Of China

A large number of Western art in the Republic of China was China,widely spread and practice in Chinese,mainly in two ways: 1,the spread of Western missionaries to spread the religion as a professor of Western painting,including the objective perspective,space painting technique and theory,this mainly appeared in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,the main effect of the southern coastal areas;2,to Europe and the United States and Japan art students to practice,the western art in Chinese spread to set up the school,set up art,art history courses,publications,and other organizations,has been more widespread.First Republic of Western art history research,this paper has published an overview of the work on the history of Western art,its understanding of the history of Western art,includes two aspects: one is the simple classification,analysis of the work;the second is an analysis of authors,including learning,geography and so on.Research a variety of Western art history during this period,General history written into the mainstream,researchers mostly intellectuals to study abroad,accepted foreign culture even fine arts education,in their joint efforts contributed to the period of Republic of China history of Western art "craze".Secondly,this article is more concerned about the Republic analysis and comparison of published works on the history of Western art,including art history,art history research methods,differences in work writing,Translation work and compile the preparation work of works,works from Europe and America and Japan.Finally,pointed out that the Republic of China period in Western art history research achievements and the limitations,such as the promotion of modernization of Chinese art history,such as the introduction ofWestern culture and ideology of "impulses" and "blind" these deficiencies.Using historical data analysis,chart analysis,comparative law.Additionally,at the time of writing,two writing clues: a comparison of translation work is;one is a comparison of TRANSLATION and compilation works.Through comparative studies and summary of assessment,knowledge of Western art history studies in the Republic as a whole,understand the differences and similarities between the two types of research,preliminary study the history of Western art in the Republic made significant progress and the inevitable limitations.
