The Republic of China Gazette is the first bourgeois republic in Chinese history-the organ newspaper of the Hubei military government of the Republic of China.It is essentially different from the official newspaper of the late Qing Dynasty.The Republic of China Gazette has made important contributions to maintaining social stability in the 1911 Revolution and promoting the development of the anti-Qing revolution;it is an important historical material that records the revolutionary situation before and after the establishment of the Hubei Military Government of the Republic of China and the Republic of China and has important research value.At the same time,there have been multiple innovations in government newspapers,which have laid an important foundation for the development of modern government bulletins.The dissertation is mainly divided into five parts.The first part mainly studies the social environment before the founding of the Republic of China Gazette,and at the same time combs and discusses the founding of newspapers(including newspaper style,editors,sales and distribution).The second part focuses on the content of the Republic of China Gazette before the founding of the Republic of China,narrates and studies the rich contents of the Republic of China Gazette(including the reports on the internal affairs and foreign affairs of the Hubei military government,military policy,revolutionary situation and the publicity of the foreign public opinion in the newspapers).The third part mainly studies the multiple images of Hubei military government constructed by the Republic of China Communique before the founding of the Republic of China through the reporting and dissemination of news information and news speech.The fourth part mainly studies the process of the Republic of China Gazette after the founding of the Republic of China in the background of the internal split of the Hubei military government and its impact on itself and the revolution.The fifth part studies the positive impact of the Republic of China Gazette on social life at the time of the revolution(before the founding of the Republic of China),and at the same time explores the Republic of China Gazette through a horizontal comparison with the late Qing official newspaper and later government gazettes to find the historical status and important influence in the development of the Chinese government gazette.
