This article is divided into two parts: theoretical research and empirical research.The first part mainly introduces the definition and measurement of higher vocational teachers' career growth,job satisfaction and career commitment,and their related research.The second part through questionnaire for measuring 409 higher vocational teachers' career growth,and job satisfaction who work in Jiangsu province.And analyzed the present status of higher vocational teachers' career growth,job satisfaction,career commitment and their relationship.At the same time,seem job satisfaction as a mediation variable,explores the intermediary effect of job satisfaction in the career growth and career commitment of higher vocational teachers.Through the analysis of the collected data,the main conclusions are as follows:1.The higher vocational teachers' career growth,job satisfaction and career commitment are in the medium level.Among them,there are no significant differences in gender and education,but there are some differences in the other demographic variables.2.There are significant positive correlations between career growth,job satisfaction,career commitment.3.Job satisfaction establishes mediation effect between career growth and career commitment.The mediation effect of total effect ratio was 0.519 /(0.519 + 0.519)= 58.7%,slightly bigger than the direct effect which indicates that have mediation effect.Some Suggestions are put forward based on the results of the study,in order to improve higher vocational teachers' career development.
