The Previous And This Life Of Dingyuan Camp

Over history,many precious folk culture,culture relics and historic architectures suffered from damage and destruction,and Dingyuan Camp is one of these heritage architectures.Fortunately,it has gained a second life with the help of the government.During the renovation of Dingyuan Camp,we are stepping into an era of cultural economy,and cultural capital,as a new productivity,will bring enormous economic benefits to our society.In recent years,the culture of the ethnic minority areas have been fully utilized and leads to a fast grow in the tourism industry.Dingyuan Camp,with its unique ethnic culture,attracts more and more visitors.During the process of tourism development and planning in Dingyuan Camp,the reproduction of cultural capital has become an important driving force as well as a main source of capital conversion.The state presence has profound impact to the reproduction of culture.This thesis studies reproduction of traditional culture and expression under state presence in the process of thriving,devastation and reconstruction of Dingyuan Camp by using culture reproduction theory and state presence theory.The author comes into a conclusion that we should not only respect traditional culture in its development and utilization,but also combine traditional culture and ethnic culture so that we can create an innovative culture reproduction pattern.
