Study Of Land Ethics Based On Marist View Of Practice

Fast economic growth has brought life of affluence to the people in China but also resulted in environmental disasters which are unrecoverable.People,while enjoying abundance of material goods,gradually gain a better understanding of the harshness of nature and harmful consequences resulted by the ideologies overly emphasizing the importance of human.Nowadays,people have to face the challenges of environmental disasters and come up with ideas to form a solid relationship between man and nature.Economy,laws,and technology are needed to solve the problems of today,but advanced ideologies as guidance are more in need.Based on the current situation of the environment,applying Marxist view of practice and Marxist philosophy on the environment,this article analyzes Leopold's Land Ethics in depth,aiming at analyzing both the advanced ideas and limitations of the Land Ethics in order to provide theoretical guidance on the development of ecological civilization.The beginning part of the article introduces the origin of Leopold's Land Ethics based on its history and theoretical development.Secondly,it summarizes the main ideas and characteristics of Leopold's land ethics,and puts forward the idea of its theoretical framework.Then analysis how the theory evolves after it was brought up,and the research on the rationality of the earth ethics has been revealed.On this basis,analyzes the Land theory on the basis of the triple relationship of objective activity of Marxist practice view:the level focusing on the human's nature attributes-human and nature;the level focusing on human's social attributes-human,the society and nature;as well as the level focusing on value-the human,the self and nature.In Leopold's Land Ethics,the extension of ethics norms,the view of collectivism and belief in ethics and emotion he mentioned have evoked people's love of nature,but limitation exists.The main reasons for limitation are neglecting the subject,lacking rationality,and negating people's subjective initiative.Thus,analyzing the origin of Leopold's thinking based on the theoretical framework and clarifying the limitation of his theories,establishing rationality,norming people's practice in order to help man reach harmony with nature,are of high importance for human's sustainable living and development.
