Bartók,as one of the greatest composer in the 20 th century,integrated Hungarian national element in his own works.In 19 th century,before this tanlented musician,there appeared a group of composer devoting themselves in creating national music already.But as a different phenomenon,Bartók’s music was closer to civilian and performed more feature and form like folk music.Bartók’s work covered many kinds of types from chamber music to symphony,suite and opera.His technique was multiple,he created “axis system” and “mode semitone system” on the basis of traditional music.Bartók’s piano pieces represented his own style and technique,the skill was complex and individual charactered,so these works were the best choice to study this great musician.Piano suite “out of doors”,composed in 1926,combined Hungary national music and modern west music as a representative of Bartók.This paper analyses Bartók’s “out of doors” in six aspect: the first is the theme-Hungarian element;the second is the harmony,studying Bartók’s special chord;the third is the counterpiont strecture;the forth is Hungary national rhythm;the fifth is the form structur;the sixth is the acoustics,including timbre,dynamics and thickness.In this process,the author quotes some charts of note,some instances and audio edit technology to support his opinion.With these analysis,the author wants to summarize a method to combine national music with moderk west music,achieving the goal of composing more works with distinct national element.
