Bela Bartok(1881-1945)was a great composer in Hungary.He experienced two world wars in 1914 and 1939.He devoted himself to the collection and arrangement of a large number of folk music culture in Hungary.He was Influenced by different composing styles in the 20 th century,making Bartok's music creation style all-encompassing and composing techniques.Very innovative spirit,Form their own unique musical personality.In 1926,it was the mature period of Bartok's creation and the year of the birth of "Piano Sonata" Sz.80.This work is the only piano Sonata he created throughout his life and is of great significance.This article is divided into three parts.The first chapter briefly introduces Bartok's life and the background of Sz.80 of Piano Sonata.The second chapter analyzes the special rhythm patterns in the works from the microscopic point of view,and preliminary understanding of the composer's creative techniques and meanings about rhythm;The third chapter studies the main rhythm patterns and beats from the macro level,and analyzes the way in which rhythm organizes and connects structures;The fourth chapter,comparing rhythm with other structural elements,reveals the force of rhythm on the whole work.Rhythm is the skeleton of music.In this piano Sonata,rhythm occupies a very important position.It is very important to promote the progress of the entire music.This paper tries to study the importance of rhythm in the structure of this piece of work.It is hoped that through this study,the author can strengthen his understanding of Bartok music,experience his unique creative techniques,and further understand the modern music style.
