The High Phenomenon Analysis On Vowels Of Ducun Dialect In Xiaoyi City,Shanxi Province

Xiaoyi is located in the middle of Shanxi Province,the dialect belongs to Bingzhou cluster of Jinyu.Ducun village is located in the northwest of Xiaoyi.The paper analyzes the hign phenonmenon on vowels of Ducun dialect,and the types、pattern、reasons on vowel of Ducun dialect and surrounding dialect.This paper is divided into five chapters.The fitst chapter is introduction.The author describes the overview of Xiaoyi city and Ducun village、the previous research status 、researchobject、methods significance、the information of corpus、informants and style.In the chapter two,the author describes the phonetic features of Ducun dialect.In the third chapter,the author analysis the high phenomenonis on vowels of Ducun dialect.In the fourth chapter,the author concluded the types、pattern、reasons、Ideas on vowel raising of Ducun dialect.The fifth chapter is the summary of the whole thesis.Chapter three and four is the focus of this paper.After the above analysis and comparison,the author learned:(1)The features of high vowels in Ducun Village are obvious.The high front vowels are higher than before,the high back vowels tended to be centralized and unrounded.The high phenomenonis on vowels of Ducun dialect,included many terminations:guo(果)group、jia(假)group、xie(蟹)group、zhi(止)group、yu(遇)group、xiao(效)group、liu(流)group、xian(咸)group、shan(山)group、zeng(曾)group、geng(梗)group.The high phenomenonis on vowels of Ducun dialect,have an effect on the initial consonants.(2)Vowels raising is ongoing in the phonological system.There are three types:Complex vowels simplification、Low vowels raising、High vowels raising.Medials and Codas played an important role.Jian(见)group—kaikou---yideng vowels raising is affected by initials.In the process of vowels raising,medial(“i”)is hyperplasiaing.Initials(k、?)are faster than initials(kh、x).The high pace of vowels(i、u、y)is not consistent.Vowels(i、y)are faster than vowel(u).However,in the speed of filling the empty slots,vowel(u)faster than Vowels(i、y).
