The Research Of Using Chinese Films And TV Programs In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

A good teaching method can help teacher to complete teaching task effectively and make students study language knowledge easily.The using of the film and television resources are coming into being in this context.In recent years,there have been a growing body of research about using the film and television resources in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.It is obvious that the method was highly appreciated by academic community.As the history of teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and using the film and television resources to teach is not very long in our country,there are still having a lot of space for researching.The films and televisions programs have vivid plots,exquisite beauty of the images and standard pronunciation.These can stimulate students' interests in learning and create a relaxed environment for studying.For students,these are not only good for cultivating of language skills but also training communication abilities.On the other hand,the films and televisions programs can also help students to comprehend the relevant knowledge of culture and social phenomenon.Therefore,the application of the films and televisions programs in Chinese teaching is imperative.This paper mainly expounds the availability and advantages about the using of film and television resources in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,but also analyze the current situation and summarize the issues about the method.Then the paper puts forward the principles need to follow when using films and televisions to teach Chinese.Finally,with my teaching practices,I choose the cartoon named ‘Big head son and Small head Dad' to design the teaching project for introducing the concrete application of films and television resources in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
