City advertising video is an important method of external promotion of a city and in particular in developed network time,an excellent city advertising video can make one city popular among people on Internet,which not only improve the popularity of a city but increase a city's economy benefits.Hangzhou,advertising video at G20 Summit,introduces Hangzhou City from different aspects of past,present and future.This is a great way for audience home and abroad to know Hangzhou but also a significant approach to understand China through Hangzhou.It has gained marvelous good comments as Hangzhou,official city advertising video of G20 Summit,was showed.To allow different group of people to have access to this video at different occasions,it was produced in three versions: musical poetry version of 4 minutes and 50 seconds without voice-over which mainly plays on Internet,foreign channel and outdoors;15-miniute English version for foreigners showing historical culture,humanity and natural views of Hangzhou;and 28 minutes' version with deep connotation showing the beauty of Hangzhou from multiple aspects and plays on CCTV.These three different versions of Hangzhou altogether deliver the connotation and city image of Hangzhou.In addition,it provides overall presentations of city connotations of Hangzhou and completes its image building from all aspects through manifestations of commentaries,music,pictures and etc.Meanwhile,it presents the whole world the image of Hangzhou.The paper analyzes the content of official advertising video of G20 Hangzhou Summit.First,it dissects Hangzhou spirits and its cultural image demonstrated in Hangzhou.Secondary,it analyzes the sound-picture presentation forms in Hangzhou.In the end,it identifies the success points and learning aspects in Hangzhou for making other cities' advertising videos.
