In recent years,environment has already become a hot topic in the world,because it is closely related to our daily life.And human beings can't live without food,which provides the basic guarantee for our livelihood.However,food crisis and food safety are becoming more and more serious around the globe.As a major power in the world,China has accumulated fruitful experiences in agriculture,and for developing countries,“Green Water Management” is really suitable to address this problem.The writer worked as an interpreter from April 17 to 23,2016,at a training workshop about China's Green Water Management experiences for GMS(Greater Mekong Subregion)countries.5 speakers from National Agricultural Technique Extension Service Center and Yunnan Soil and Fertilizer Service Center delivered speeches and gave lectures to the audience.The training session was one part of a program funded by Ministry of Agriculture of China and ADB for GMS countries on agricultural policies and experiences.And this thesis is an interpreting report on this interpreting task.The author of this thesis encountered many problems in the interpretation.However,by using some interpreting theories and some interpreting strategies such as inversion,repetition,amplification,conversion and division,the writer successfully addressed these problems.This thesis is divided into 5 chapters.In Chapter 1,this thesis provides the transcript of the Source Speech and the Interpretation.In Chapter 2,this thesis provides background information about this training workshop,the speakers and the representatives.In Chapter 3,then the writer talks about the interpreting process and some problems he encountered during the workshop.In Chapter 4,the writer carries out some case studies according to the interpreting task together with some interpreting strategies.At last the writer presents the analysis and summary of the task and some advice on how to interpret faster and more precisely.
