The object of this thesis is Chinese Cultural text books which are published in China Mainland from Tang Dynasty to Twenty-one Century.And organize the whole text context in the order of time development.Then examine the characteristics of Chinese cultural text books in different historical periods and summarized their characteristics.The whole thesis is diviede into four chapters:The first chapter introduction the close relationship of Chinese culture and Chinese language.On the basis of summarizing the previous studies on the relationship between culture and language.It shows that language teaching and culture teaching are complementary.And emphasize the influence of culture input on the final result of second language teaching.Finally comment on the present situation of Chinese culture teaching materials.The second chapter with the charts and written and give a brief review introduction of Chinese language text books from Tang Dynasty to late Qing Dynasty.With the perspective of academic history,and elaborate the influence of Chinese to the surrounding Chinese culture circle countries(Korea,Japan and Vietnam).The third chapter begins before the Republic of China be established including the 1920 s,1930s and 1940 s.And focus on the Chines language text books which published in the Republic of China and thier function,then give a brief introduction to these books.The forth chapter's study object is the Chines cultural text books which published in the 1950 s to twenty-one century,especially in the China Mainland.Including the sixtysev en years of published Chinese cultural text books.And provide some brief reviews of the preparation of ideas,the application of the object and the overall structure of teaching m aterials.In summary,the author hold that in the period of feudal society,the practice of using ancient classics in Chinese language teaching for foreigners is more correct.The reason is the learners can learn the language and feel all kinds of ancient books represented by the traditional Chinese culture at the sa-me time.Nowadays,especially for the vigorous development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we should pay more attention tothe infiltration of culture and write more Chinese culture materials for students who are more suitable for different language levels.
