| Dance drama consists of dance and narrative plot.The dance drama Silk Road is one of masterpieces of Chinese culture and also is an excellent representative of the narrative strategy.The academic research of dance drama Silk Road focused on the realms of dance art,which mainly contained on the analysis of the achievements of dance art and musical art,while the narrative plot strategies are rarely involved.The innovation of this paper is the narrative research on the plot of Silk Road under theories of Narratology.Culture is diverse,and civilization is convergence.The key going to international stage is to mix together unique own culture with the aesthetic standards of the Western drama dance perfectly.Meanwhile,speaking the story of China is also same,mixing own cultural symbols with the form of international discourse.This paper is divided into five parts.The Introduction outlined concepts related to the theories of Narratology,reviewed research status related to this topic at home and abroad,research methods,the significance and value of the selected topic.Chapter One mainly discussed creative art of the dance drama “Silk Road,Flower Rain”,Chapter Two mainly presented the plot of the dance drama “Silk Road,Flower Rain” and analyzes the plot from narrative angle,Chapter Three elaborated respectively the roles of dance elements,music elements,stage design elements,and characters' costume design elements on supporting the narrative of the dance drama “Silk Road,Flower Rain”.Chapter Four discussed the significance and value of plot narration of the dance drama “Silk Road,Flower Rain” in international communication. |
