A Study On Public Health Cause In Xi'an In The 1950s

The national policy was greatly adjusted after the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh CPC Central Committee,the center of the work was shifted from the countryside to the city,and the strategy of "making China steady from the agricultural country to the industrial country" put forward by Chairman Mao Zedong was formally implemented.Fortunately,Xi'an was identified as one of the key cities of industrial construction,However,the medical health facilities and health awareness were weak in the early days of the founding of Xi'an.Many people were plagued by a variety of acute and chronic diseases.These conditions were seriously restricting the pace of economic development in Xi'an.In order to improve the situation and seize the opportunity of economic development,the Xi'an Municipal People's Government decided to proceed from improving the health of the public and vigorously develop the public health cause.In this paper,the public health business in Xi'an in the 1950 s is the object of study,The specific measures taken by the government is the main body,the establishment of the medical,health,epidemic prevention agencies,health regulations,the various areas of health management,the public,the students,the health industry personnel to carry out the publicity and education are the detailed research.From this study,I want to restore the development process of public health at that time and to deepen the early founding of Xi'an social changes and urban modernization awareness.The full text divides into four parts to elaborate the above main point.The first part is the background and condition of the rise of public health cause in Xi'an.It discusses the complex social situation of Xi'an before the founding of the People's Republic of China,the change of national policy after the founding of the People's Republic of China,the need of urban economic development,and the advanced health experience both at home and abroad.The second part is the construction of public health system in Xi'an.They include health management institutions,health publicity,education,health system and regulations.In the third part,the hygienic construction and management of Xi'an in the patriotic health movement,environmental sanitation,factory and site,food and food service industry and rural health in the 1950 s were discussed in detail.I spent a large number of ink on the Patriotic health movement,the factory and the site of the health management.The fourth part mainly summarizes and evaluates the public health undertakings carried out in Xi'an in the 1950 s.In the first place,I enhance the achievements from the medical and health,the city outlook,the improvement of social atmosphere,the development of industry,the agriculture and the public health awareness.In addition,I point out the problem from the aspects of the depth of health publicity and education,the balance of suburban sanitation and the effectiveness of sewage management.Last but not least,I analyze the reasons for the development of public health of Xi'an in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,which from the aspects of urban construction and health,propaganda and education and grassroots organizations,government and society,and then sums up its experience to provide reference for the development of public health in the new period.
