| The excavation and research of public health history is a great event in recentyears. Public health history rise up means it is a part of Chinese history’s change, aprogress that Chinese history follows with leading edge of international academicstudy, a mark that in-depth study of Chinese social history. However, it is no doubtimportant to development of our society and progress of civilization, as organized andsystematic construction of public health with to prevent disease, promote health ofcitizens. This thesis main discussed about the constructions of public health in1912to1937with using a lot of historical literature, in order to revealing the situation ofdevelopment of public health roundly. There are four parts in the thesis. The first partmainly introduces the situation of development and changes of public health in theend of Qing dynasty to the period of Republic of China, which include meaning,historical evolution of organization and scope. The second part main discussed thatsome relevant health’s systems and laws are appeared after the public health agencysystem are established, made some achievements on management and practice ofhealth in some cities and villages, include environment, food and epidemic prevention.The third part mainly discusses and analyses achievements and problems ofconstructions of public health in the republic of China, found some reasons and drawa conclusion. One can know the alteration of the society by viewing its history. In aword, It could reflects basic situation of public health since the period of republic ofChina by studying construction of public health in1912to1937. This is important toour country’s construction and development of public health afterward. |
