Establishment Of Psychological Correction Assessment Questionnaire For Community Correction Personnel

On December30,2006,National Health and Family Planning Commission,the Central Propaganda Department jointly issued the?Guiding opinions on Strengthening Mental Health Services?,the opinion pointed that special attention should be paid to mental health services for special populations:community inmates(correctional staff).This part of the population should be strengthened humane care and psychological counseling.Eliminate social discrimination,to help them reintegrate into society,improve their ability to withstand setbacks,adapt to the environment,to avoid recidivism.Therefore,it is very important to carry out the psychological correction work.Psychological correction is a dynamic and long-term process.It includes not only the evaluation of the mental health status,the personal dangerousness of the community correction personnel.After the evaluation,the classification education and individual education were carried out according to the characteristics of the crime type,attitude,social support system,personality,age and gende.It is very important to evaluate the effect after the implementation of psychological correction,as an important basis for their straightening solution.In summary,the evaluation questionnaire of community mental corrections is a multi-level structure,it includes 10parts:psychological crisis,self injurious tendencies,antisocial tendencies,recidivism risk,mental health,mental disease,correct attitude,correct adjustment,correction needs and correction effect evaluation.This study slected 45 community corrections personnel to carry out case interviews in Chenggong District Justice Bureau and the Chuxiong Municipal Bureau of justice.Through the qualitative analysis,the structure questionnaire of psychological correction for community correction personnel was constructed.Based on the author's working experience in Chenggong and the expert consultation cases,to establishment of the initial community corrections psychological assessment scale.Finally,selected the Yunnan province Wuhua District Bureau of Justice(292)and Qujing Xuanwei City Bureau of justice community corrections officers to finish the scale.Statistical analysis of item analysis,exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,reliability and validity should be done after datas recovering.Inappropriate titles should be deleted and the final questionnaire is finished.Finally,the present situation of the psychological health status and the effectof psychological correction of the community correction personnel were discussed.The results show that:1.Community corrections psychological assessment scale has good reliability and validity,which can be used to carry out the whole process of psychological correction.2.In general,most of the community corrections were positive,and the correction effect was obvious.3.The independent samples t test and variance analysis were used to test the difference of demographic variables.There were significant differences in the risk of recidivism among community corrections in different age groups,There was no significant difference among other questionnaires;There were no significant differences in the community corrections among different marital status;The time on community correction have significant differences in self harm tendency,antisocial tendencies,recidivism risk and psychosis questionnaire;The risk of recidivism was significantly higher than those of 6-12 months and 12 months after the correction of the risk of recidivism in the risk of recurrence of the questionnaire,which had been corrected for less than 6 months.
