“War's Unwomanly Face” is one of the representative works of Svetlana Alexievich,who is the owner for the Nobel Prize in Literature for 2015,the female reporter of Belarus and a writer,in this book,the author conducts the writing for the true experience and emotional experience of the female soldiers from the Soviet Union during the Second World War.By the writing approach of oral account,the author shows the war under the perspective of females which is little known to the public.This thesis is divided into four chapters,it develops the analysis and the discussion on the feminine writing in the “War's Unwomanly Face” and its rich meaning and value.Chapter one,integrate with the specific literary works,analyze the deficiencies and limitations for the image of females existed in the traditional war literature written by male writers,point out the male barriers existed in the war literature,and the necessity for the female writers to conduct the writing of female for the breakthrough of this barrier.Chapter two,integrate the specific text of “War's Unwomanly Face”,analyze the true experience and situations in the female writings of Svetlana Alexievich which reveals the injury suffered by the female soldiers during the war and after the war.Chapter three,starting from the double persecution of the war and the patriarchy culture on the females,analyze the reason for the suffering of the female soldiers with so many pains during the war.The last chapter,explore the rich meaning and value of “War's Unwomanly Face”;the feminine writing of Svetlana Alexievich in this book not only shows the little-known experience of the female soldiers during the war to the public which expresses their own voice for the females with no more silence,but also reflects the cruelty of the war and the complication of humanity from another angle,and reveals some injustices existed in the society for which it is advantageous for the promotion of women's liberation to achieve the gender equality,in the meantime of reflecting the war and the humanity to call for peace.In addition,the content and the writing approach of this work also conducts the supplement for the war literature which is mainly written by males and inspires for the later creation and enhances the richness of literature.At last,although too many pains are written in the book “War's Unwomanly Face” by Svetlana Alexievich,her writing isto seek a better living style for the people on the base of reflecting the history.What the author expects is a world full of peace,equality and love.
