With the progress of animation brand building,it has gradually been seen that animated characters play an important role in animations.Thus,as the core of animation brands,animated character brands begin to attract wide attention in the allocation of industrial resources.As new works continuously emerge in the animation market,animated character brands should not only meet people's needs of recreation and appreciation,but also bring economic benefits to enterprises to maintain their operation.The life cycles of these animated characters in the market are directly related to the living environment,product sales and overall planning of enterprises.Therefore,discussion of extending the life cycles of animated character brands would facilitate the virtuous development of the dissemination of animated character brands in the industry of animation,and provide new ideas and opinions for building and enhancing Chinese animated character brands.This paper is made up of five parts.The introduction mainly described the background,significance and methods of this study and provided a literature review.The first chapter clarified the definitions of brands and animation brands,and further defined animated character brands and their features and summarized the advantages of animated character brands in the market.The second chapter focused on the analysis of features and value of animated character brands,and expounded the connotations of the appearance,coloring and personality of excellent characters created in China and abroad from the perspective of animation audience.The third chapter analyzed the content and methods of continuation of animated character brands in the industry of animation,to explore the elements and forms of character brands in terms of life cycles and brand maintenance.It focused on the discussion of the interrelation between the role of animation industry chain in promoting characters and continuation.The fourth chapter to probe into the active effect of animation companies on animated characters and their influence on the objectives of animated characters,as well as the interactive relation between animated character brands and education etc.
