The Cultural Imagination And Artistic Expression Of The Large-scale Documentary Film “Remember Nostalgia”

Nostalgia,is not just the feeling of being away from home,but also a cultural identity.Nostalgia is the gene of the Chinese culture and the national emotional attachment.<Remember Nostalgia>,the one hundred sets of large documentary series,finds the development of the traditional villages,focuses on overseas Chinese homesickness,and digs the value of Chinese excellent traditional culture by telling the story of life and the feeling of homesickness in hundreds of old villages.This study of “Remember Nostalgia”,takes four sets of Guizhou(Basha Zaidang Zhaoxing and Zhanli)in the first and second quarter for instance and tries to expound the cultural imagination of nostalgia and the artistic expression of the documentary.The first chapter expounds the meaning of “Nostalgia”from two aspects of natural nostalgia and cultural nostalgia.;The second chapter is based on the theoretical background of documentary to industrialized production and the famous view that the nation is imaginary community from the well-known anthropologist Benedict Anderson.The chapter analyse the cultural imagination of Guizhou minority areas in <Remember Nostalgia> from two aspects,ethnic customs and the expression of ethnic folklore.The third chapter analyzes the four sets of Guizhou in <Remember Nostalgia> by the pull-in view of research methods,including the analysis of its narrative art and the audio-visual language,to try to draw such documentary creation technique in common.This paper takes four sets of Guizhou <Remember Nostalgia> for instance,makes a systematic research to this documentary and tries to grasp its cultural imagination and artistic expression.
