Research Towards Tactile Design Teaching Based On Paper Scroll Material

Visual communication design updates the course contents and subject settings due to the emergence of new technology and of new media in recent years.The paper medium has features like large-scale replication and dissemination of information efficiently,which still occupies a dominant position in the professional teaching content,and also possibilities of re understanding of it.Touch design,which is closely related with the paper material,breaks the single way of spreading information,looks at the problem from multidimensional points of view,focuses on the audience's sensual experience,so that the information content of visual communication is more complete and abundant,has higher spreading utility and is worth for educators paying attention to in teaching,emphasizing in cultivating talents.This paper studies the tactile design based on paper scroll materials through the major of visual communication design,so as to regain the concern for paper scroll materials,explore the new design potential and application value from the view of tactile design,enrich the teaching content by combined with teaching,and finally cultivate students' abilities of design consciousness and ability.First of all,this paper expounds the relationship between "paper" and "touch",and then introduces tactile design centered by the touch of paper material.Next,expound issues like development status,curriculum setting according to the information and research,discuss the situation of tactile design of paper scroll material combined with courses in the teaching and its attentions from others,make practical data base for the latter study of the paper.The main part of the paper is in the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter,which is about to design the operation scheme of "tactile design" teaching,in-depth discussion and analysis from teaching,and finally offer applied suggestion in teaching.Thus,update the corresponding teaching methods to make teaching more close to the social needs,and finally cultivate the elite talents with the spirit of exploration in professions.
