A Practice Report On The Chinese Translation Of "Using Standard Of Instruments And Machines In Different Climatic Regions"

With time going on,accounting for the proportion of total paper translation,the percentage of the translation of domestic technology thesis is increasing,which indicates the degree of attention to the translation of science and technology in China increases constantly.Now across the country,there is not a field in science and technology,which has relatively perfect corpus and translation norms,and the research degree of climatology and mechanical technology in Russian is not thorough,so the study on the translation project of this field has great practical significance.Based on the translation project “Using Standard of Instruments and Machines in Different Climatic Regions”,this paper takes the principle of Skopos Theory in Functional Equivalence Theory as the guidance,and analyzes the stylistic features,the translation criteria,and the translation strategy on the lexical and syntactical levels of this translation project.This paper tends to the analysis of the translation text;under the guidance of translation theory,it analyzes the characteristics of vocabulary and syntax on the basis of the specific examples,and through the concrete translation theory to guide the translation strategies and to achieve the applied research purpose of combining theory and practice,eventually achieve the goal of accurately conveying the text information of science and technology.In addition,this report also summarizes the difficulties and problems in the whole translation process,and gives solutions to concrete issues.Finally,through the reflection and summary on these questions,we can accumulate the translation experience;meanwhile provide reference for translation workers of this field in the future.
