Admonitio Generalis, aimed at all Frankish people, was a capitulary issued by Charlemagne in 789, in which there was a relatively peaceful period after Charlemagne's battles throughout the length and breadth of the country. Alcuin did make an undeniable contribution to the writing and revising work of this capitulary. In terms of content, Admonitio Generalis contains a large amount of expectations and provisions of Church management, country governing and cultural education in the whole kingdom.
