Chinese Teaching in the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a special-purpose Chinese language teaching. This dissertation focuses on comparative analysis on the vocabulary of four sets Chinese textbooks by using literature research method, statistical analysis method and comparative analysis method.The primary contents of this paper includes:(1) The content of teaching material comparative study.(2) Vocabulary comparative study.(3) The level of the vocabulary comparative study.(4) Based on the theory of style, to divide the vocabulary into general style words, non TCM special style words and TCM style words.The main conclusion of this paper as follows: (1) The vocabulary showed a downward trend, and appeared below the reasonable range of the phenomenon. (2) The outline has certain guidance to Chinese language teaching materials for the teaching of diction; object orientation in textbook gradually clear; strive to achieve a smooth transition and the course of traditional Chinese Medicine Specialty. (3) The number of textbooks is large, and there is a significant change in vocabulary replacement. (4) The general style words are indispensable in the Chinese teaching of traditional Chinese medicine. (5) Non TCM special style words can be used in Chinese medicine and other disciplines.(6) TCM style words are the key of the students entering the Chinese medicine specialty, but it is difficult for the students to study on the road because of the difficulty of their specialty.
