Anhui Oil Painting Study Since The 80s

The present study is devoted to investigating and discussing the development of Anhui oil-painting since 1980 s.Applying the methods such as visiting survey,literature review,data verification and case study,this study attempts to investigate the phenomenon and the language form of Anhui oil-painting from a multi-angle view in order to reveal the features of Anhui oil-painting’s development,explore its developing tendency,find out its forming causes,sum up the regional language as well as the existing problems,and finally disclose the advantages and disadvantages of the current Anhui oil-painting.This study first discusses the influence Anhui Province ’ s natural environment and human background have on Anhui oil-painting’s different aspects,including its form,subject,style,and its developing tendency,etc.According to the different forms and styles of the oil-paintings and the different regions they belong to,the study classifies the paintings and their painters,then chooses some influential and typical painters to be further analyzed with their works,revealing the overall characteristic of Anhui oil-painting,together with its complicated features reflected in different regions and different painters.Moreover,this study also manages to analyze the influence of the oil-painting style of western countries and other provinces in China,pointing out its developing pattern and law through an analysis on the forming causes,both inside and outside,of Anhui oil-painting.In the end,the study expounds the artistic value of Anhui oil-painting with its current existing problems,and in view of that,advices and suggestions to deal with those problems are also put forward here for the future development of Anhui oil-painting.
