Research On Words And Database Of The New Journal Of Silk Books From Mawangdui Han Tomb

Mawangdui Han Tomb is located in Wulipai,eastern suburbs of Changsha in Hunan Province.It's a mound with about 10 meters height and 30 meters diameters.It was considered as the tomb of Ma Yin,king of Chu in the period of Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms.From 1972 to 1974,3 Han tombs were unearthed with more than 3000 articles,such as silk fabrics,silk manuscript,silk painting,lacquer,pottery,bamboo slips,agricultural and animal products,Chinese herbs and so on.The excavation of Mawangdui Han Tomb is of great value to our academic research,especially the abundant bamboo slips and silk have helped provide valuable material for the research of ancient Chinese charactersComparing to Silk Manuscripts of Mawangdui Han Tom(One),(Three)and(Four),Collection of Bamboo Slips and Silks from Mawangdui Han Tomb,the seven-volume edition which was published in 2014 referred to the latest research results and officially supplemented some literature of divination and six arts such as Zhou Yi,Yin-yang and Five Elements,Horse Judging Classics and so on.Based on these new materials,this thesis will do some digitalization and build a database of the new journal of silk books from Mawangdui Han Tomb.What's more,it will do accurate statistics on the amount of individual character and frequentness of these characters.According to the category of literature,it will make comparative research about literature of six arts and literature of divination,sort out the general situation of words on new journal of silk books from Mawangdui Han Tomb systematically and explore the usage rules for Chinese characters so that it can help provide basis for further research about literature of bamboo slips and silks.This thesis is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is introduction about the research status of the new journal of bamboo slips and silks from Mawangdui Han Tomb and related problems,including the new journal's detailed content and basic situation,development status of the database of bamboo slips and silks from Mawaangdui Han Tomb and research status of Chinese characters and character frequency.This chapter introduces the basic main points of the research,including the purpose,significance,thoughts and method of the research.The second chapter will discuss the development of the database of the new journal of bamboo slips and silks from Mawangdui Han Tomb from discussion of theory of digitalization to practice of detailed steps,and at last will present the results of the database.The third chapter will do quantitative statistics for characters in the new journal of bamboo slips and silks from Mawangdui Han Tomb.The characters will be divided into three blocks: high frequency,medium frequency and low frequency and five character categories: extremely high frequency,high frequency,medium frequency,low frequency and extremely low frequency.It will analyze the characters with extremely high frequency and high frequency and explore the rules of using these characters.The fourth chapter will analyze the characters with medium frequency,low frequency and extremely low frequency and explore the rules of using these characters.
