With the development of media technology,television,music and network media as the carrier of life has become an important part of the daily life of middle school students.Music through listening,appreciation,interpretation and other forms can be subtle influence on people's physical and mental and behavioral role.Among of them,the impact of music on pro-social behavior by the researchers attention.Pro-social behavior is that people show in their daily behavior has all acts of altruism,including sharing,cooperation,and helping to comfort other acts.The existing research focuses on the effect of lyrics on the influence of pro-social behavior,and does not pay attention to the type of music and the elements of the music itself(such as rhythm).However,some studies have shown that the structural factors(music type and rhythm)of background music have a significant effect on the behavior of customer citizens.The behavior of customer citizens in this study refers to the spontaneous development of enterprises.Therefore,this study examines the impact of music types and rhythms on the pro-social behavior of middle school students.In this study,the effects of music types and rhythms on pro-social behavior were investigated through two studies.The first study explores the relationship between the preference of music type and rhythm with the pro-social behavior by middle school students.The second study investigates the influence of music type and rhythm on pro-social behavior.Based on the above two studies,the following main conclusions are obtained:(1)The type of music can significantly affect the pro-social behavior of middle school students,compared to rock music,classical music can promote the pro-social behavior of middle school students;(2)The rhythm of music can significantly affect the pro-social behavior of middle school students,compared to slow-paced music,fast-paced music can promote the pro-social behavior of middle school students;(3)Emotions can predict predictive pro-social behavior and play a part of the role of rhythm in the influence of pro-social behavior.
