The Words Research About Integration Of Lithograph Guci Novels In Shanghai In Late Qing Dynasty

The domestic study of Guci develops relatively late,the achievements are mostly focus on the explanation of concept,the research of one or one series of version of Guci,local Guci and so on.But do not have many results about its terms,especially from lexicography perspective.The Integration of Lithograph Guci Novels in Shanghai in Late Qing Dynasty compiled by Li Yu is a large-scale series of books which photocopies and publishes lithograph Guci Novel in Shanghai hundreds years ago for the first time.It could provide first-hand original materials to research modern Guci novels.This thesis,based on special words in the Integration and other novels and traditional opera in Ming and Qing Dynasties,uses a combination of interpretative means,takes usage of dialect throughout the country for reference,discusses and illustrates some ancient words and meanings,adds and corrects some problems on entries and interpretations in all kinds of dictionary as well as other research achievements.The introduction part of the thesis mainly introduces the situation about Guci,the general academic research of it,the content of the Integration of Lithograph Guci Novels in Shanghai in Late Qing Dynasty and its value for research.The second part mainly do some research about interpretation.Choosing special words of the Integration of Lithograph Guci Novels in Shanghai in Late Qing Dynasty,based on Chinese Dictionary,Modern Chinese Dictionary,Vernacular Novels Language Dictionary and so on,we supply and rectify these related dictionaries from four aspects: the entry collection,the meaning items,the explanation and special words discussion.In particular,we supply some items that dictionaries do not have included,add some meanings that dictionaries do not have noticed,error some explanations that dictionaries have wrong defined,and then interpret some set of specially words.There also concludes some words of value which come from other lithograph guci works and interpret them slightly.We can regard it as an extension of those four aspects.The third part based on a whole investigation of the words of the Integration of Lithograph Guci Novels in Shanghai in Late Qing Dynasty,concludes three using characteristics of it: first,the phenomenon that the composition of word could exchange is common;second,there are a lot of synonyms,near-synonyms and other words whose meanings are related to;third,the word order always change because of rhyme or level and oblique tones.The fourth part combines with concrete examples,discusses some problems we should pay attention to when interpret vernacular words and puts forward some corresponding suggestions: first,we should master the corpus as much as possible;Second,we should attach great importance to the useful effect of dialect;third,we do not ignore some words which look ordinary on the surface.There is a term index at the end of the text,which could be used for searching.
