| Influenced by Western Modernist School,Li Jinfa applied the techniques concerned in such fields as poetry,sculpture and painting creation.He brought a new creation perspective to the Chinese poetry and art in the 1920 s.His creative consciousness is worth studying in the sense that we can better grasp the literary and artistic contact between different cultures and that communication is not a one-way evaluation of advantages and disadvantages between cultures.In a nutshell,we should make an analysis of Li Jinfa’s poetry from intercultural perspectives.In this paper,the author tries to provide a new research angle,namely the analysis of poets and poetry creation with reference to the concept of art(such as sculpture and painting),and it is these new factors that would be involved in the discussion of Li Jinfa’s poetry creation.The specific methods used include the interdisciplinary theory of comparative literature,studying the relationship between the he works of art and poetry,that is,how Mr.Li transplanted the art theory to poetry writing.Second,the aesthetic modernity of aesthetic theory is used,showing how he worked from the perspectives of cross-cultural aesthetic commonness.The major contents of the dissertation are shown as follows.First of all,the origin of aesthetic modernity from intercultural perspectives is revealed.Li Jinfa’s literary creation background is illustrated from the aspects of sculpture,painting,art,and literary interpretation.This part combines his life experiences and living environment,meaning that he was influenced by western art,ideology and culture in art creation.Also,the interpretation of modernity is conducted respectively from the meaning of modernity and aesthetic modernity,which leads to a better understanding of his cross-cultural literary creation.The meaning of modernity and aesthetic modernity is explained,thesignificance of further analysis for the meaning of his cross-cultural aesthetic modernity is pointed out,and how his sculpture,painting and art concepts was interwoven with his poetry creation is expounded from the diversity of poetic language and visual description.The multi-aspect analysis of Li Jinfa’s poetry and his poetic creation highlights his solemn usage of language,his visual images of the world,and the relationship between aesthetic modernity and his literary creation.After that,an analysis is made on the thinking ways and writing techniques related to aesthetic modernity,and relevant conclusions are made.Li Jinfa’s works show women’s living conditions,their love,and his own sexual revolution interpretation from the perspectives of aesthetic modernity.Women,Chinese or western,are tragic in Jinfa Li’s eyes though their living conditions may be different.We can appreciate the aesthetic modernity Li Jinfa expressed through his deep thoughts.Besides,an analysis is made of aesthetic modernity Jinfa Li expressed through his poetry by means of his deep understandings of space and space tension.At last,the dissertation discusses Mr.Li’s poetic works through the value and skills of aesthetic modernity,and tentative conclusions are drawn about the principle of aesthetic modernity and the value of his poetry.Through an analysis of the artistic modernity Jinfa Li expressed,that is,his deep expressions of aesthetic idea,we can find some common literary values useful for readers and poets alike.In the general conclusion,the author summarizes the whole dissertation from the concrete embodiment of aesthetic modernity Li Jinfa expressed in his works.Mr.Li put the concepts of sculpture,painting and art creation into his poetry creation,bringing a new poetry creation angle to us in cross-cultural communication between the Chinese and western cultures and yielding an interdisciplinary influence. |
