Originated in the 1920 s,the project-driven teaching method has obvious effect on mining students 'learning potential and teachers' teaching potential,which is of great significance to realize teaching reform and promoting educational reform.Higher vocational English teaching based on the project-driven teaching method is the result of the gradual exploration in practice,which purpose is to solve the dilemma faced in the practical teaching methods,to improve the effectiveness of vocational English teaching and to educate the language skills and learning skills.It is a method of achieving the vocational ability of the recipient and the course of the docking through the form of the project combined with teaching and working scenarios,motivating students,and achieving the task of teaching through group cooperation.What's more,the method is also helpful to develop the ability of cultivating the knowledge of the educated and mastering skills and to develop compound talents with cultivate vocational skills and professional English for the community.Based on the teaching process of the project,this paper tests the project-driven teaching through the teaching experiment of the English course of Higher Vocational Education,and tries to prove the effect of the teaching method's connection to show its effect.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is an introduction,focusing on the background,purpose and significance of topics,research methods combined analysis papers framework.The second part is the literature review,which is the analysis of the domestic and foreign research status and application,especially for project-driven teaching methods in vocational English teaching theory.The third part is the backbone of this study,namely applied research Approach in Jiangxi Vocational College of Applied Engineering projects driven.In this section,the researcher's detailed project driven approach and its implementation,and the form of teaching experiment demonstrates the teaching project of Jiangxi Vocational College of Applied Engineering "Vocational English" course of the process,structure and analysis and evaluation.The fourth part mainly analyzes the application strategy of promoting project-driven teaching method in English teaching in vocational colleges from the aspects of subject and object of education,education standard,teaching platform and academic exchange.The fifth part is a project-driven Approach in Vocational College English teaching the application review and summary and thus carried outlook.
