Research On The Application Of Task Driven Teaching Method In Secondary Vocational English Teaching

With the development of economic globalization and integration,and increasingly frequent international communication,to master English—a tool for communication,becomes more and more important for high-technology workers.It benefits for students to grasp vocational skills,to form integrated vocation ability and innovation ability,besides,it plays a vital role for their future study and development.Basic English course is a required course for students in secondary vocational schools.The task of this course is to cultivate the students' English comprehensive application ability in daily life and professional field,but the actual situation of the course is that the students' English learning foundation is weak and lack of interest in learning,while the basic English Teaching in secondary vocational schools only emphasizes language teaching and ignores the students' comprehensive language ability.Keep.Still,the traditional "teacher talk,students listen to" the teaching method is the main way to make English learning in the boring explanation and passive examination,gradually make students have a conflict of English learning.The whole teaching effect is not ideal,which leads to the dilemma of basic English Teaching in secondary vocational schools.This research is based on the teaching practice of basic English course in S College for one semester.Through questionnaire survey and data statistics analysis,we find out the problems in the current teaching situation.Using the "task driven teaching method" to reform the teaching method of the basic English course in secondary vocational school,through the comparison between the task driven teaching method and the traditional teaching method,it is found that the effect of the "task driven teaching method" is better than the traditional teaching method,and the basic English of the secondary vocational school is obtained.The task driven teaching method is quite suitable for language teaching.
