Research On The Performance Of Schumann Piano Sonata No.1 In F Sharp Minor

Robert Alexander Schumann is a musical poet with both music and literature talent.He is an excellent reformer during Romantic era.The Piano Concerto,F–sharp minor,op.11 of Schumann contains Florestein and Eusebius,which represent two different sides of his character.He composed it for him beloved Clara.The whole music is full of passion,and also filled with sweet emotion towards Clara.This thesis mainly contains introduction,main body and conclusion.There are three chapters in main body: the first chapter is about the back ground information of Piano Concerto,f minor,op.11.Firstly I will discuss about Schumann and his works.Secondly I will briefly introduce the composing background within the early Romantic culture background.In the second chapter I will combined with Florestein and Eusebius in works of the analysis.The third part: the playing thinking of the work.I will divided into four points: First of all,The breathing method about “short but continuous”,discussed the "type" of music sections and the non-thematic music's problem with breathing processing;Second,the magnitude of the multi-angle thinking about distribution of power,this paper discusses the advocate tone music texture,and polyphonic music played the texture intensity distribution and harmony ups and downs and dealing with the relationship between the strength;Third,the basis of processing speed change,this paper discusses the important structure point of speed change process,and changes in the rate of ups and downs and deal with the relationship between the part and "free" music deal with the problem of speed variation.Fourth,the performance effect.In a word,my main purpose is to understand deeply of the spirit of this music.Through the research around the related issues of Piano concerto,F–sharp minor of Schumann,I will lay a good foundation for music performance,and accumulate experience for my future study career.
