The Relationship Of Purpose In Life And Mobile Phone Dependence In College Students: Mediating Role Of Boredom

In today's society,smart phones are becoming more and more popular,and their functions are becoming more and more powerful,and the " low-headed race" is also growing.There are countless teenagers who indulge in mobile phone network and affect their study and life,some adults are also bound by mobile phones.To prevent students from playing cellphones in class and affecting study,some colleges and universities have set up cellphones placing bags while forcing students to leave cellphones in class.More and more scholars are involved in the research on mobile phone dependence,and the research of mobile phone dependence on academic websites are increasing year by year.Thus,the research on mobile phone dependence accords with the needs of the times.This study is aimed to research the relationship of purpose in life,boredom proneness and mobile phone dependence in college students,while translating and revising BPS-SF.The study concluded that:(1)BPS-SF(Revised version)has good practicality for Chinese college students.(2)Boredom proneness and mobile phone dependence in college students are significant different in demography;(3)There are pairwise correlations among purpose in life,mobile phone dependence and boredom proneness;(4)Boredom proneness plays an intermediary role between purpose in life and mobile phone dependence.
