Manchu folk art takes root in the "white mountain and black water",the soil of northeast China,and gradually forms its own simple and unadorned,forthright and sincere,and alive artistic style after three hundred years historical development process.Manchu has diversified folk art,including Manchu paper-cut,Manchu embroidery and Manchu custom shape and structure,etc.Folk art and activity are the outward manifestation of Manchu people's spiritual culture,exhibiting the great vitality and vigor of Manchu,which nourish and breed Manchu unique national temperament and spirit.Apart from the primary quality,the nation's connotation and practical significance,Manchu folk art viewing from the angle of philosophy and aesthetics embodies Manchu living ways and thinking habits.Manchu folk art has went through tortuous development,but large amount of art forms is still comparatively completely preserved owing to four main reasons.The first one is that the origin place of Manchu,Changbai Mountain,is far away from central city,which makes it easier to preserve traditional custom.Manchu folk culture becomes deeply ingrained here,and products on behalf of native soil are closely connected with people's lives.Geographic cause is the second one.The unique climate in northeast facilitates the arising of the corresponding utensils and folk art.Besides,the long winter in northeast area comes as the third reason.People here make different kinds of handicraft art,like paper-cut,embroidery,etc.,to live through slack season,which gives rise to the prosperity of Manchu folk art in northeast region.Finally,Manchu as the last feudal dynasty once protect and praise highly national culture and custom.All these causes together promote the development of Manchu folk art to become a great treasure in Chinese national arts.Manchu folk art and design art always maintain the relative inheritance and alternation,which evolves from mutually promotion,other than contradiction.Traditional folk art and handicraft art established in the past living environment serve people's lives and reflect people's spiritual outlook in the agrarian age;modern brand design based on the background of industrialization and informatization makes innovations to solve problem of life and serve modern life as well.Manchu folk art symbol possesses the properties of ness,simpleness and unadornedness and protogenesis,which provides the possibility of extracting Manchu folk art symbol to proceed modern home brand design.The application of Manchu folk artistic modeling symbol in modern design should not only be manifested in the form,but need us to go further to understand,discuss,study and summarize some design and creation rules,and grasp and comprehend the spiritual nature of Manchu culture,and eventually sublimate Manchu folk art to modern design art.In this thesis,we take some efforts to collect,tidy and summarize Manchu folk art and folk culture material,which is aimed at carrying forward,inheriting and protecting Manchu traditional culture.By conducting filed investigation in different Manchu autonomous counties and cities,we have summarized the style features of Manchu folk art and the rules of coloring and drawing,explored some creative design methods of national home brand,added theoretical support of product development of information and digital age into the theoretical system of national home brand design,and explored the road of applying Manchu traditional folk artistic symbol to do home brand design and product design,and utilizing the transmission mode of mobile Internet to spread Manchu culture,which together provide some examples of practice for modern national home brand to find a foothold in nowadays society.The development and prosperity of modern culture and economy,on the contrary,promote the people's pursue of national and localized product and design.The home brand design incorporating Manchu folk artistic symbol is a brand new attempt,and the visual ness handling of Manchu folk artistic symbol have a good visual oriented effect on the cultural transmission.Utilizing the interaction of mobile Internet terminal media to break the territorial restriction of traditional media,establishing Manchu home brand and exploring localized cultural connotation through Internet platform,these two aspects play an important role in the protection and inheritance of Manchu folk art in northeast China and the formation and promotion of national home brand idea.
