This thesis mainly uses the method of comparative analysis of murals and animations,and makes a tentative exploration on the application of the representation of the ancient murals in animation design.First of all,combining the related history and theory research,this article analyzes the artistic features of different forms of murals in temples,that is,analyzes the artistic features such as the image,line and color in the ancient temple murals,attempts to extract some Chinese traditional and the new creative elements of national characteristics laid the foundation for the application of the expression of the ancient temple murals in the design of animation modeling.Secondly,the design basis of the animation modeling was briefly analyzed,that is,the key elements and typical features of the animation modeling were analyzed.Thirdly,Through the concrete analysis and application of the typical animated modeling of the mural painting manifestations,this paper studies and summarizes its application methods.Finally,using the method of comparative analysis,this paper attempts to explore the similarities and differences between the expression form of the ancient temple painting and the design of animation.Through the above systematic research,the paper explores the application of the expression of temple murals in the animation modeling design,that is,to find out the fusion point of ancient temple mural manifestation and animation design.In order to find the innovation breakthrough through applying the form of mural painting to the design of contemporary animation,finding the most effective way to combine mural painting and animation has certain practical significance both in theory and practice.
