The Use In My Creation By The Interest And Charm In The Little Landscape Painting In The Southern Song Dynasty

The little landscape paintings in the southern song dynasty is an important part of traditional Chinese paintings.At the same time,it is a special form of artistic expression which is conceived by the influence of traditional Chinese culture and It has distinct national character and culture.The painters are endowed with a kind of extraordinary value and character in various aspects such as cognition,thinking and performance because of traditional Chinese culture.Compared with western painting works,Chinese painting focuses more on conveying the artist's thoughts and feelings and connotations through visual images.In these little landscape paintings,the image is often simplified,the range of views is concentrated and the technique of drawing is concise.The picture emphasizes the vitality of the image and provids endless imagination space to viewers with the use of the artistic techniques such as white space.The painter naturally formed a kind of thinking mode called “multum in parvo”,in the creation process of little landscape painting.They have a grasp of the scene from detail to macro.A world without borders is shown in a limited picture without the restraint of space time and nature.The painter's rich inner world is shown in the language of the condensed painting technique.We can understand the development of society and nature by the artist's personal spiritual world.This paper attempts to explain the unique creative thinking of small landscape painting by using the word "multum in parvo".The paper focuses on the four aspects include subject and content,location layout,the conception of the plot,emotion and artistic conception,to arguing the thought of multum in parvo is reflected in the little landscape painting in the southern song dynasty.The research results are applied to artistic creation practice and understand the interest and charm in creation of the thinking mode called “multum in parvo”by own creative practice.
