The landscape of the Southern Song Dynasty occupied an important position in the history of Chinese landscape painting.Whether it was its technical performance or emotional burst,it highlighted the special features of the Southern Song Dynasty society and the times.Among them,the painter with its unique aesthetic perspective and painting form depicts the jiangnan people in daily life such as enjoy the moon,tide,night tour,singing,guest words and other comfortable life.At the same time,there also appeared a number of political paintings that encouraged the fighting spirit of the army and the people and implied the aspirations of the rulers.Therefore,the figures in the landscape paintings in the palace style of the southern song dynasty have become an important entry point for us to understand the living conditions of the people in the southern song dynasty and observe the social customs of the southern song dynasty.This article mainly takes the landscape paintings of the character of Southern Song Dynasty as the research object,through elaborating the course of their emergence and development.To explore the close relationship between the description of the characters and the changes and development of their social,political,regional,environmental,cultural and economic backgrounds,Recognizing that the change of characters in the landscape paintings in the southern song dynasty was not only a factor of the internal self-discipline of art,There are also external factors.To see the characteristics of the development and change of this problem,it is necessary to put it into its specific historical environment for in-depth analysis and research.This paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,Literature review is made on the research status of the painting academy of the southern song dynasty,the research status of landscape painting point figures,and the research status of the relationship between point figures and political orientation in the landscape of the southern songdynasty.It also recognizes that the close relationship between art and social history,art and the ruling class is the main factor that distinguishes the landscape figures in the palace style landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty from those in other times.The second chapter mainly describes the form of the academy before the Southern Song Dynasty,including the emergence of this institution and the site of the academy,and distinguishes the concepts of academy painting,art academy and imperial-court decorative painting.In the third chapter,the causes of style,stages and morphological characteristics of landscape painting in the palace style of Southern Song Dynasty are analyzed respectively.The social environment and political and cultural background of the Southern Song Dynasty changed the living environment and aesthetic psychology of the painters after the Southern Festival.The growth of scholar-bureaucrat class and the development of landscape architecture in Southern Song Dynasty are the objective factors for the formation of landscape painting style in Southern Song Dynasty.This chapter divides the landscape painting of the Southern Song Dynasty into three stages,namely,Gaozong and Xiaozong period,Guangzong and Ningzong period and Lizong period.The first period followed the realistic style since the Northern Song Dynasty;the second period began to form their own painting language through meditation and introspection;the third period was the end of the Southern Song Dynasty,and the palace style landscape painters led the realistic style to the end,turning to the new style of symbolic painting creation.And the morphological characteristics of these different styles of landscape paintings are embodied in their composition,brush and ink,and shape.Chapter IV mainly combines with specific paintings,according to their creative background,to analyze the painter's thoughts and social elements carried by the point-view characters.The palace style landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty can be divided into two categories: rigorous and vigorous.Most of the spot characters in the former works serve the rulers,and convey a political metaphor in the way of cooperation between monarchs and ministers.The latter is more about the artist's inner Lyric expression,while the subtraction but profound meaning.It greatly improves the expression of the reproduction vocabulary in the Southern Song Dynasty,but also reflects the people's pursuit of comfortable life and the emphasis on introspection and lyric mood in the Southern Song Dynasty.The fifth chapter is the elaboration of the function and significance of the point-view characters in the landscape paintings of the Southern Song Dynasty.When the point-view characters appear in the paintings,they always contain some reasons,whether for the purpose of managing the composition,improving the artistic expression function of artistic conception,or displaying the era environment in which they live.The reappearance function of recording the daily life of the times,or the emotional attachment function implied in the painting,etc.are important manifestations of the aesthetic function,as well as the important image data of the Southern Song Dynasty.
