This thesis is to study the language learning strategies of excellent Chinese L2 learners.It is divided into two parts.The first part through the questionnaire survey,is to analyze the overall trend of the use of excellent Chinese L2 learners' learning strategies,and whether there is a significant difference between the frequency of excellent Chinese L2 learners' and ordinary Chinese L2 learners' using language learning strategies.The second part through observation and interview,is to find the difference between excellent Chinese L2 learners' and ordinary Chinese L2 learners'using language learning strategies,and analyze the reasons.In the first part,we found the frequency of excellent Chinese L2 learners' using language learning strategies.The most commonly used language learning strategies of excellent Chinese L2 learners are meta-cognitive strategy and social strategy,of which the frequency is significantly higher than other four language learning strategies.In the second part,we found that the differences between the specific usage of the language learning strategies of excellent and ordinary Chinese L2 learners mainly lie in:the usage of language learning strategies of excellent Chinese L2 learners are more flexible,and that they show strong initiative and a clear and strong sense of self-management in the process of using language learning strategies,and that they are obviously more communicative.The reasons for the difference are analyzed:excellent Chinese L2 learners are more self-demanding;and that they use more time to study;and their ego drive is stronger;and the standard of choosing language learning strategies of excellent Chinese L2 learners is different from that of ordinary Chinese L2 learners.These results will contribute to Chinese L2 teaching and learning.
